Terms of service
Last updated: 30 October 2026. These terms cover the websites, hosting and support sold by Web Landscapes LLC, a Florida company trading as MyChurchWeb ("we", "us"), to churches, synagogues, mosques, temples and other organizations ("you"). Questions go to contact@mychurchweb.com or (786) 372-0287.
1. What we do
We build and host a website for you and give your volunteers editor access and training. Each plan includes what the pricing page lists on the day you sign up, plus anything in your written quote. If we change a plan, we tell you before it applies to you.
2. Fees
- The setup fee is paid half when we start work and half when the site goes live.
- Monthly plans are charged each month in advance; yearly plans once a year in advance. Prices are in US dollars.
- Domain registrations and renewals are charged at the registrar's price.
- Changes beyond your plan's hours cost $60 an hour, estimated first. Included hours don't carry over.
- If an account stays unpaid, we may take the site offline until it is settled.
3. Your domain and content
The domain is registered in your organization's name. The words, photos, recordings and logos you give us stay yours, and you let us use them to build and run your site. When a plan ends, we transfer the domain to you and give you a copy of your site's content, and you may keep using those pages.
4. What you're responsible for
- What your volunteers publish, and who has a login.
- Having the right to publish what goes on the site, including photos of people, music and recordings.
- Your accounts with giving, livestream and church software providers.
- Lawful use. We may take down a page that breaks the law or infringes someone's rights.
5. Giving and other services
Gifts are processed by the provider you choose, under its terms, and never pass through us. We are not responsible for third-party services on your site, such as giving providers, YouTube, Facebook or maps.
6. Availability and backups
Sites are served from Cloudflare and earlier versions are kept so they can be restored. We don't guarantee the site will always be available.
7. Canceling
Monthly plans end at the end of the paid month. Yearly plans run to the end of the paid year and aren't refunded part-way. If you cancel before launch, you pay for the work done, up to the first half of the setup fee. We can end a plan with advance notice.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we're not liable for indirect losses such as lost donations. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
9. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Florida law. Disputes go to the state or federal courts in Miami-Dade County, Florida.
10. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we update the date at the top and tell customers by email.
